Field Notes : Dinner & Dialogue Series
Farm Alliance of Baltimore hosts, Field Notes, a recurring series of dinners celebrating food, community, and education. I had the honor of participating in The Sugar Edition, their third event of 2023.
I created wheel-thrown ceramic vessels to hold 10 varieties of sugars - dark muscovado, molasses, organic cane, granulated, casters, confectioners, light brown, panela, demerara, and raw sugar cane stalks. The small handheld bowls were for attendees to touch, smell, and feel the differences between sugars.
